Voltzberg & Raleighvallen

Day 1
We will depart by car to Witagron. On arrival, we will have lunch, after which the boats will be loaded for the boat trip to Raleigh Falls. On arrival, you can already explore the area. Because of the long journey, there will be little on the program today. In the afternoon, we will do some hiking, explore the island and, if desired, take a dip in the river.
 
Day 2
Immediately after breakfast, we get ready for the trip through the forest to Voltzberg. This tour is captivating and impressive; chances are that you will encounter different animals, such as monkeys, birds and wild boars. The highlight of this day is the climb to the mountain’s peak (240 m), where you can enjoy stunning views over the tropical rainforest. For cooling, we stop at the Ajoemara falls before we arrive at our lodge. You’ll be able to relax and socialise after dinner.
 
Day 3
In the afternoon, you will visit Anjoemara Falls. Here you can stand under one of the waterfalls and enjoy the cool water. On the way back, we will stop at Copie Island. Again, you can enter the water under the guide's guidance and float to the base camp with life jackets on. After dinner, enjoy a cultural show with song and dance from the local Raleighboys.
 
Day 3 or 4
At about 10:00 am, we leave again by boat to Witagron, where we return by car to Paramaribo.
