Fredberg

Day 1
You will travel by car towards the untouched jungle. You will pass the base camp, where you have some time for swimming and/or something to eat. Then put on your jungle clothes because it's time to climb the Fredberg. You run this in about 3-4 hours before reaching the mountain’s peak. Enjoy the beautiful view, the sunset and the starry sky on the top of the mountain before going to sleep in this special place. This tour is suitable for anyone with regular fitness.
 
Day 2
You’ll get up early from your hammock for one of the most beautiful sunrises in Suriname. You wake up in the jungle, with the sound of the howler monkeys and beautiful birds such as macaws flying by. A good hearty breakfast is provided to start the day with enough energy. Then, our experienced guide will take you on the road, during which you will receive an explanation about the functioning of various plant species, and you will learn how to survive in the jungle. At night you will sleep in a bed at the base camp.
 
Day 3
We’ll take a relaxing walk through the jungle. Then return to base camp to rest before travelling back to Paramaribo.
